In One Drain and Out the Other

Danny and Joe welcome callers’ questions each week on the Today’s Homeowner Radio Show.

Here’s a question from our Sept. 21 broadcast:

David in Texas says, “I have two sinks in a small bathroom. When I spit out toothpaste in one sink, some of the toothpaste comes up in the other sink.

Both sinks drain well. I took the pipes apart, but only p-traps had water in them. What is wrong?”

We tell David a plumber needs to see how these two drains are connected.
